Disclosures

We started this web site to help parents establish healthy sleep habits for their babies. That’s goal number one.

Disclosure: Advertising and Affiliations

However, certain aspects of this site allow us to make money:

  • Affiliate links. Some of the external links on our pages are “affiliate links”, meaning that if visitors click through them and make a purchase, we will receive a small commission (usually 1-4%). It doesn’t cost our visitors anything, and we don’t link to products that we don’t believe in, from reputable retailers like Wal-Mart and Barnes & Noble. Further, the majority of external links on our site go to Amazon.com, and we do not receive any commission from these.
  • Google ads. A few of our pages have pay-per-click banner or media ads provided by Google Adsense. These should be “targeted” ads related to babies and parenting, and thus we think they will be useful to our visitors.
  • Our e-book. We have written and published two e-books related to baby sleep training. One of those, Better Baby Sleep Habits, is free to subscribers of our mailing list. We sell a more detailed and comprehensive Baby Sleep Training 101, though Gumroad. This secure third-party provider handles payment processing and protects buyers’ privacy (we see only their e-mail address).
